Permissions

Access to the SGS Female Pelvic Anatomy Digital Library is provided as a benefit of membership in SGS for the purposes of teaching and learning pelvic anatomy. Individuals, and in some cases other entities, hold the copyright and therefore content on this site may not be used for publication or reproduction without the express consent of the copyright holder.

Those wishing to submit content for potential use in the library must confirm the materials they are submitting are not copyrighted or that they are the copyright holder and provide SGS with permission to use the provided materials. If another journal, publication, or entity holds the copyright, written permission to use the materials in the SGS Female Pelvic Anatomy Digital Library must be included with the content submission.

Authors wishing to publish their own content in both the SGS Female Pelvic Anatomy Digital Library and in another journal/publication/website must work with that entity to ensure they retain copyright of their images and/or videos, thereby allowing them to be used in multiple locations. If retaining copyright is not an option, it is the responsibility of the author to obtain copyright permission from the copyright holder for the content to continue to be used in the SGS Female Pelvic Anatomy Digital Library and provide written permission to SGS to retain on file.
